My GEP1 experience

Although it has not been my first contact with CLIL, GEP1 project has been very useful to me in order to get a wide range of strategies on improving my students learning.
A vast amount of innovative activities and teaching techniques have been provided to us as well as many practical tools.
I've realised that it is essential to dedicate a good volume of time to plan and design the activities properly. It is also a key point to think about how to get students engaged and provide appropiate materials to help them with his learning process.
I didn't work in English with my students before the implementation of these 6-8 sessions, so I was walking on shifting sands. I've realised that some of them find it quite hard to express themselves in English and a few of them had real difficulties to follow the explanations. Maybe a better scaffolding strategy should have been provided.

Despite of this fact, I think it has been a good experience and I am eager to repeat and expand it next year. Let's keep our fingers crossed!
