The IES Gerbert d'Aurillac de Sant Fruitós was created in 1994 - 1995 and in March 2001 the building is being built, which is its current headquarters. We are a state school on the Department of Education of the Generalitat of Catalonia.

The reason for being of our Institute, as a public educational center in Catalonia, is to make it possible:

Academic training that provides students with a good achievement of basic competences through the principles of active pedagogy, methodological coherence and homogeneous performance by all the areas of knowledge that act on them.

Personal training that stimulates students' self-teaching ability, their scientific and research curiosity, their creativity and their critical and rational attitude.
